SciLor's grooveshark Downloader v0.4.9.2b

13 comments
SciLor's grooveshark™.com Downloader is a tool for downloading and playing music from Grooveshark™.com. It offers several languages (such as: catalan, french, german, germanbavarian, portuguese, spanish, swedish, turkish, italian, danish, hungarian). This tool has the Tor Project included (optionally).

Are you from germany, where grooveshark(tm) is blocked? This will work for you!
I suggest to use from EU countries (Germany, France, Belgium, Austria,..) permanent a good VPN provider next to your ISP to access the net without limits. Not only YouTube also P2P and so on and save you from possible troubles. Besides that stay anonym while using the internet.

You like the commandline? Then try the command-line offered within this app (-help)
Also nice is the proxy feature.
Thanks fly out to "nilezon" who offered his grooveshark™ API!
Also thanks fly out for all the translators who helped me to bring this piece of software into several languages!

Super VPN Services 14 Account (7x US Gateways, 7x Europe - DE Gateways) P2P eMule/Torrent is supported.

Super VPN Services offers VPN accounts for all kind of needs include IPhone VPN, VoIP VPN and P2P Torrent VPN.

We have not fully tested the service in detail yet because the selection of available Gateways is amazing. At times we reach up to 1,4 MB/s on BT and nearly 4 MB on Speedtest. The servers can be sometimes slower as 0.5 - 1 MB/s, the rate varies. We received for us a live time account with all servers - many thanks! The provider has, however, a package which P2P eMule and BitTorrent direct supports on Gateways in Germany and the United States. We assume that this work perfect with P2P as well.

VPN Traffic 1x 6 Months, 1x 3 Months and 6x 1 Month Accounts.

VPN Traffic offers a wide range of VPN Gateways: USA, AU, UK, Spain, Russia, Italy, India, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong.

From our location in a former soviet country we reached download speeds of 1.5 MB on our 4 mb/s cable Internet access using the long distance gateway in Korea on P2P. Opening web pages, unfortunately, had a short Time Delay but this may be due to our location.

FBVPN 1x 6 Months, 1x 3 Months and 6x 1 Month Accounts.

FBVPN offers excellent fast VPN Gateways in UK and USA supporting PPTP + L2TP/IPsec.

Video clips from sites like Hulu.com over the U.S. Gateway run nearly perfect. Clips from the BBC Youtube channel we received without interruptions using the UK Gateway. The speed tests we made were outstanding. P2P seems to be not supported. Web browsing works with our Internet access without any speed loss on both gateways in the UK and USA. IPv6 is supported as well as it looks.

Invisible Browsing VPN Provides us with 5 free premium accounts with access to all servers valid for 3 months.

ibVPN operates reliable Gateways in US, CA, UK, NL, DE, IE and FR. All of them servers are very fast. No delay while watching Movie Clips and fluent web browsing. Speedtest results are excellent. Up and Downloading from the net works same fast as without a VPN between. We do reach line speed with this VPN.

With our ISP we have a Low ID on eMule but by using this VPN we got a High ID. This is excellent! Speed tests on the gateways we tested were outstanding. Browsing and downloading from the net is quite fast. We don't feel any lose in speed by switching this VPN between or connect direct. FTP works as well. By installing the optional software, the Gateway country can be switched after a time period automatically.

2009-04-17 AdvTor v0.1.0.0

I2P Anonymous Network

I2PTunnel application, you can hook up application instances and have them talk to each other over standard TCP sockets. In plain client-server scenarios, this is an effective technique for many simple protocols, but for distributed systems where each peer may contact a number of other peers (instead of just a single server), or for systems that expose TCP or IP information within the communication protocols themselves, there are problems.

OpenVPN 2.1 rc18

0 comments

OpenVPN 2.1_rc18 -- released on 2009.06.07 (Change Log)

The OpenVPN 2.1 beta series is ready for testing and limited production usage. Major new features include:

* Windows Vista-ready on both x86 and x64.
* OpenVPN GUI is now packaged in the Windows installer.
* topology subnet feature, allowing intuitive tun-based VPN subnets having 1 IP address per client.
* TAP-Win32 adapter can now be opened from non-administrator mode.
* PKCS #11 features for usage of cryptographic tokens ("smart cards").
* multihome feature to enable UDP-based multihoming of the server on multiple interfaces.
* port-share feature to allow OpenVPN and an HTTPS server to share TCP port 443.

Changelog:
2.1 Change Log
'

OpenVPN Change Log
Copyright (C) 2002-2009 OpenVPN Technologies, Inc.

2009.06.07 -- Version 2.1_rc18

* Fixed compile error on ./configure --enable-small

* Fixed issue introduced in r4475 (2.1-rc17) where cryptoapi.c change
does not build on Windows on non-MINGW32.

2009.05.30 -- Version 2.1_rc17

* Reduce the debug level (--verb) at which received management interface
commands are echoed from 7 to 3. Passwords will be filtered.

* Fixed race condition in management interface recv code on
Windows, where sending a set of several commands to the
management interface in quick succession might cause the
latter commands in the set to be ignored.

* Increased management interface input command buffer size
from 256 to 1024 bytes.

* Minor tweaks to Windows build system.

* Added "redirect-private" option which allows private subnets
to be pushed to the client in such a way that they don't accidently
obscure critical local addresses such as the DHCP server address and
DNS server addresses.

* Added new 'autolocal' redirect-gateway flag. When enabled, the OpenVPN
client will examine the routing table and determine whether (a) the
OpenVPN server is reachable via a locally connected interface, or (b)
traffic to the server must be forwarded through the default router.
Only add a special bypass route for the OpenVPN server if (b) is true.
If (a) is true, behave as if the 'local' flag is specified, and do not
add a bypass route.

The new 'autolocal' flag depends on the non-portable test_local_addr()
function in route.c, which is currently only implemented for Windows.
The 'autolocal' flag will act as a no-op on platforms that have not
yet defined a test_local_addr() function.

* Increased TLS_CHANNEL_BUF_SIZE to 2048 from 1024 (this will allow for
more option content to be pushed from server to client).

* Raised D_MULTI_DROPPED debug level to 4 from 3 to filter out (at debug
levels <=3) a common and usually innocuous warning. * Fixed issue of symbol conflicts interfering with Windows CryptoAPI functionality (Alon Bar-Lev). * Fixed bug where the remote_X environmental variables were not being set correctly when the 'local' option is specifed. http://www.openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/documentation/change-log/71-21-change-log.html

Tor protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody watching your Internet connection from learning what sites you visit, and it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location. Tor works with many of your existing applications, including web browsers, instant messaging clients, remote login, and other applications based on the TCP protocol.

Changelog:
Changes in version 0.2.1.8-alpha - 2008-12-08
Major features:

•New DirPortFrontPage option that takes an html file and publishes
it as "/" on the DirPort. Now relay operators can provide a
disclaimer without needing to set up a separate webserver. There's
a sample disclaimer in contrib/tor-exit-notice.html.
Security fixes:

•When the client is choosing entry guards, now it selects at most
one guard from a given relay family. Otherwise we could end up with
all of our entry points into the network run by the same operator.
Suggested by Camilo Viecco. Fix on 0.1.1.11-alpha.
Major bugfixes:

•Fix a DOS opportunity during the voting signature collection process
at directory authorities. Spotted by rovv. Bugfix on 0.2.0.x.
•Fix a possible segfault when establishing an exit connection. Bugfix
on 0.2.1.5-alpha.
Minor bugfixes:

•Get file locking working on win32. Bugfix on 0.2.1.6-alpha. Fixes
bug 859.
•Made Tor a little less aggressive about deleting expired
certificates. Partial fix for bug 854.
•Stop doing unaligned memory access that generated bus errors on
sparc64. Bugfix on 0.2.0.10-alpha. Fix for bug 862.
•Fix a crash bug when changing EntryNodes from the controller. Bugfix
on 0.2.1.6-alpha. Fix for bug 867. Patched by Sebastian.
•Make USR2 log-level switch take effect immediately. Bugfix on
0.1.2.8-beta.
•If one win32 nameserver fails to get added, continue adding the
rest, and don't automatically fail.
•Use fcntl() for locking when flock() is not available. Should fix
compilation on Solaris. Should fix Bug 873. Bugfix on 0.2.1.6-alpha.
•Do not mark smartlist_bsearch_idx() function as ATTR_PURE. This bug
could make gcc generate non-functional binary search code. Bugfix
on 0.2.0.10-alpha.
•Build correctly on platforms without socklen_t.
•Avoid potential crash on internal error during signature collection.
Fixes bug 864. Patch from rovv.
•Do not use C's stdio library for writing to log files. This will
improve logging performance by a minute amount, and will stop
leaking fds when our disk is full. Fixes bug 861.
•Stop erroneous use of O_APPEND in cases where we did not in fact
want to re-seek to the end of a file before every last write().
•Correct handling of possible malformed authority signing key
certificates with internal signature types. Fixes bug 880. Bugfix
on 0.2.0.3-alpha.
•Fix a hard-to-trigger resource leak when logging credential status.
CID 349.

By Morph , Spike2 based eMule mods in HttpDownloadDlg.cpp
// MORPH START, send user agent as firefox if obfuscated....
Spike2::Obfuscate

used by enabled protocol obfuscation
are all UA Strings Firefox 1.5 Italian language ( Can cause more often a Low ID by svr login and ISP and others can figure out in non Italian regions that it's emule with protocol obfuscation enabled )

Some mods send a invalid UA string by enabled protocol obfuscation. Close the String with ) is missing: SharkX for example _T("Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1;")
(thePrefs.IsClientCryptLayerRequested()?_T("Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1;")
-> (thePrefs.IsClientCryptLayerRequested()?_T("Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1)")

Changes can be done: by using different UA strings/Mod:

I2P 0.6.4 release

1 comments

I2P Anonymous Network I2P release v0.6.4

I2P is an anonymizing network, offering a simple layer that identity-sensitive applications can use to securely communicate. All data is wrapped with several layers of encryption. The network is both distributed and dynamic, with no trusted parties.

Many applications are available that interface with I2P including mail, peer-peer file sharing, IRC chat and others.

0.6.4 is available in monotone and at http://echelon.i2p/0.6.4/ . It will be a few hours before it is available at http://www.i2p2.i2p/download.html and via the automatic update mechanism.

I2P 0.6.4 release
I2P release 0.6.4
=====================

The 0.6.4 release adds performance and stability improvements. Floodfill peers which are already connected, are preferred for RouterInfo stores, and references to new floodfill peers obtained from ordinary peers in case of shortage.

Preference for already connected peers is generally increased by considering them active. Timeouts during tunnel joins are now counted against peer profiles.

Improvements to the shutdown handler, tunnel builder, router throttling, collection of tunnel pool statistics, as well as router console and I2PSnark improvements
(and texts to explain reachability issues) are also included.

This release is backward compatible: if you already have 0.6.1.31 or greater installed, it will recognize the signature on the signed update file, and you can update automatically.

As customary, for people who don't have the option of checking GPG signatures, supplied below are the SHA1 hashes of released files:

install update:
1. get the i2pupdate.zip copy it into your I2P directory, DO NOT unzip it!
2. add router.blocklist.enable=true on configadvanced.jsp
3. download http://zzz.i2p/files/blocklist.txt to your I2P directory
4. Restart I2P.
I2P will deflate the zip on its own, apply it and starts up with it

Nodezilla 0.5.6

0 comments
Basically, Nodezilla is an experimental grid based p2p system available for Windows and Linux (on Intel platforms).

Technically, Nodezilla is a secured, distributed and fault tolerant routing system (aka Grid Network). Its main purpose is to serve as a link for distributed services built on top of it (like chat, efficient video multicasting streaming, File Sharing, secured file store ...). Nodezilla provides cache features; any server may create a local replica of any data object. These local replicas provide faster access and robustness to network partitions. They also reduce network congestion by localizing access traffic. It is assumed that any server in the infrastructure may crash, leak information, or become compromised, therefore in order to ensure data protection, redundancy and cryptographic techniques are used.

It currently offers five services:

* Anonymous File sharing,
* Hierarchical Multimedia Streaming,
* Digital photo sharing with selected friends,
* Distributed BitTorrentStore Database,
* User driven storage/retrieval of objects.

As this is a quite new and evolved p2p protocol compared to existing products.

The Experimental Distributed BitTorrent Database is available
The plugin for Azureus allowing integration of the Nodezilla Grid and BitTorrent in some way is available here. An explanation of how things work is here.

04 Oct 2008 - Nodezilla 0.5.6-cindy for Win32 and Linux available !
