"This Alpha of Namoroka / Gecko 1.9.2 introduces several new features:

* Several new CSS3 properties including background size and gradients for background images

* Startup and responsiveness improvements throughout the application.
Some of the changes will affect web and platform compatibility. For detailed information about compatibility changes in Gecko 1.9.2 and Namoroka, please read Firefox 3.6 for developers. For a full list of changes, see this list (it's big).

Tab previews in Firefox 3.6 Switching with Keyboard shortcut {by more than 2 Tabs open} and preview by AllTabs Button click
Originally planned for Firefox 3.0 and 3.5 but finally backed out in both development cycles, tab preview is available again in Firefox 3.6 alpha 1 nightlies to provide visual tab switching: press Ctrl + Tab or click on All Tabs button to get previews of the current Tabs along with the five most recently used tabs in a row.
Plus+ an option to show all tabs thumbnails.
The all tabs preview includes a search bar to look for keywords among tab titles and tab close buttons for some housekeeping.
Also back is the new behavior for single Ctrl + Tab: instead of moving to the next tab in the tab bar, you can switch to the previously used tab.
Unlike previous attempts, this time tab preview and the new tab switching behavior are off by default.
To enable to show all tabs thumbnails with Keyboard shortcut CTRL + TAB set:
browser.ctrlTab.previews to true via about:config.
To enable tab preview with the AllTabs Button set:
browser.allTab.previews to true
In some Builds for the new behavior to activate: browser.ctrlTab.mostRecentlyUsed to true -> dep. on browser.ctrlTab.recentlyUsedLimit value.
Control with list all tabs button:

Highlights
Attention state red dots are now blue. The red dots got some flak the last time around, so after a bit of shilly-shallying and random trepidation we decided to switch out the racuous red for a balmy breeze-like blue. We hope you like it.
There's a brand spankin' new Unite service called Messenger, use it to chat with your buddies on My Opera.
Tab thumbnails on the side interface has been spiffed up a bit.
Unite stability has been given a once-over, we think you'll find it to be improved.
